Ernest Leite Jr., 47, of Corona, Calif., formerly of Waimea, died Aug. 10 at home. Born in East Hollywood, Calif., he was a glazier and served in the U.S. Navy. Memorial service at 5 p.m. Thursday, Aug. 30 at Immaculate Heart of Mary Church in Papaikou. Aloha attire. Survived by wife, Karen Leite of California; daughter, Leann Leite of Dallas; hanai daughter, Nicole (Zach) Briner of Dallas; parents, Ernest and Maria Leite of Waimea; brother; Jeffrey (Vanessa) Leite of California; sisters, Robin Leite, Veronica Leite, Denise Leite, Mary McCombs and Elaine Leite of California; uncles, aunts, nieces, nephews and cousins.

Richard Minoru Okawa, 65, of Keaau died July 24 at Hilo Medical Center. Born in Honolulu, he was an iron worker for Arakaki Mechanical Construction Co., member of Retired Iron Workers Association and National Guard veteran. Services held. Survived by wife, Liza Cabatbat of Maui; son, Derek Okawa of Hilo; daughter, Kaala Okawa of Seattle; brother, Robert (Genie Ng) Okawa of Kailua-Kona; one grandchild. Arrangements by Dodo Mortuary.

Roy Tolentino, 68, of Pahoa, formerly of Waimea, died Aug. 12 at his Ainaloa home. Born in South Kohala, he was a retired steward at Hilton Waikoloa Village. Visitation 9:30-11 a.m. Saturday, Sept. 1 at Borthwick Hawaii Funeral Home.
